Lead engineer in a team within the Human Interface Technology group which developed an automated system for the training of air traffic controllers. The system comprised of speech recognition and speech synthesis hardware together with dialog control software to simulate pilot responses and display the flight of up to twenty aircraft. During the course of this work, I attended several conferences and workshops, at home and abroad.
