About Oscar Cadena
Oscar Cadena began his journey as a DJ in 1993 in a small Salsa club of his home town, Bucaramanga-Colombia. During his career in Colombia he was part of important entertainment brands, worked in radio stations and he achieved to become a renowned Dj with residencies in major night clubs in his home town. During his journey as a Dj Oscar was given the opportunity to take part in festivals and to share stages with various Latin artists which enriched his musical influences. The core of his musical taste is based on both Latin and Anglo music of the eighties and nineties.After 15 years on the Dj scene in his country, Oscar makes a stop on the road and decides to embark in a new journey in Australia. Not too long after his arrival he starts to Dj in some of the most representative venues of the Sydney Latin Scene. His versatility leads him to be guest DJ at events in Brisbane and Canberra. Now after many years of hard work, Oscar Cadena is recognized as one of the best Latin DJ's in Australia.He currently leads a project called Candelaria where his goal is to provide quality Latin entertainment. When partying with Oscar's tunes, be prepared to hear the authenticity of rhythms from his native Colombia mixed with the most current and vibrant latin hits, creating an eclectic set that will make your heart beat at the rhythm of his music.
