As one of the Sr. Lead Industrial Designers at Speck, I was fortunate to have lead the industrial design from early conception into mass production for several teams and many projects. Leading a team of Industrial Designers, mechanical engineers and starting a internship program within the Speck PD team allowed me to grow as a designer. Product ranging from R&D/Material and Manufacturing based initiatives to core product line products.

Being part of the Kensington Industrial Design team was something special. Working on a wide range of categories from iPad Keyboard cases to computer locks and ergonomic products. As part of the team I started out as a Junior role, and worked my way up to lead projects and into a Senior position. Lots of hands on experience to make a product real, traveling to suppliers to work through DFM, EVT, DVT, PVT, to MP to make our ideas real. I was fortunate to be part the year long program of creating the Kensington Design Language- which built off the 30 year history of product development to hone in on a modern yet classic design language that im proud to say Kensington still uses today on their products. Help restart the internship program too!

Worked on a wide variety of projects, as a Industrial designer. Developed professional skills such as, creating presentations with both visual and physical communications, CMF specifications, prototyping, model making, trend analysis and UI development. Lead several projects from conception on into prototyping and initial production.
