While I was interning at Cummins Power Generation, I spent most of my time creating Salesforce interfaces for our outside salesmen. Salesforce was somewhat new to Cummins and it was my role to lay out a foundation so everyone could get a good grasp of it. I built interactive dashboards and reports for salesmen, managers, and even region managers to see current sales.

After my freshman year of college, I had the chance to use my analytical skills that I learned in the classroom to help make a difference with this startup. I put together a sales pricing platform in Microsoft Excel to visualize sales based on current price, competitors price, inventory, margin, target margin, and more. This helped adjust the prices accordingly and lead to the highest revenue in a month in company history; a 10% increase from the previous high.
