We R Interactive was a unique games company co-founded by David and bringing together the best of games, film and TV production. We brought global audiences together around sport and music and through interaction delivered outstanding results for commercial partners.Over 23 million players enjoyed games such as I AM PLAYR. Commercial partnerships with clients including Nike, Red Bull, P&G and Alfa Romeo delivered market leading brand activation, routinely reaching conversion rates of over 40%. A highlight of which was the award of the prestigious inaugural Cannes Gold Lion for interactive entertainment.Music service Lyroke become the No. 1 music title across many countries at launch. Bringing music video to life it was described as "An Interactive VEVO" and proved their remains an opportunity to change the streaming business model beyond advertising.Our propriety MUSE platform used AI to drive unique narrative and sports experiences. Applications ranged from the narrative structure of I AM PLAYR, to creating rich user experiences from live sports data ingested in real-time from multiple sources.We R Interactive adopted a very successful virtual studio model. This resulted in significant overhead savings but also to the benefit to productivity and staff flexibility. This is a model that David will consider in future organisational structures.

Emote Games Ltd was a games company with an ambition to build the service layer for the Metaverse 16 years too early.Emote was engaged by SONY to help set the strategic direction of their HOME virtual world and explore it's application as a cross format social network, work well ahead of its time.The Hunter, our first self published game, was released in early 2009 taking advantage of emerging online business models and bringing new levels of production value to the genre and online market. Over the next ten years the franchise has become the world's leading outdoor sports franchise.

Responsible for European and Asian Product Development for FTSE 250 Publisher, David was a member of the Executive Board transforming the business operationally as it matured. He led a fantastic team with whom he built a diverse and successful portfolio. Lasting franchises created including Hitman, Timesplitters, Championship Manager, Commandos, Lego Star Wars and many more.Other notable achievements were working closely with Asian Publishers delivering both licensed and original titles from Japan, Korea and China. These included Final Fantasy VII and Resident Evil.David played a significant role in the acquisition of several development companies and in the successful sale of Eidos to UK Publisher SCi in 2005.
