I am hungry to learn.I am currently working as a Pre-Board Screening Officer. A day at work, I implement rules and regulations as well as standard operating procedures to ensure aviation security and protection. I also help the travelling public have a efficient and pleasant screening process. I have been working in this field for almost 4 years. I must say that I have learned a lot from this job - teamwork, attention to detail, ability to prioritize, remain calm and multi-task under pressure in a dynamic environment etc - but I see to it that I don't limit myself in learning only in this environment.Crunching numbers (not in a complicated way) has always been a place in my heart. 5 years ago, I finished my Diploma in Business Administration-Accounting. I enjoyed it and started to find jobs but as recession hits and employers are looking for more qualified applicants, I could not get any. That's when I get this urge to learn for more and broaden my knowledge in accounting. I stopped for 2 years, worked, saved money and got back to school. And here I am, recently graduated in Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration Major in Accounting (with flying colors). As of now, I am actively seeking to learn, build my career and eventually grow in the Corporate World!
