As a Pricing Underwriting at health insurance service provider, I determine the premium value of a health insurance product for a company/corporation. Beside that, I identify, classify, and determine the risk level of prospective policyholders that will be covered by insurance. Some of the variables used in determining the premium value are the benefits requested, participant data, premium budget, rates used, terms and conditions, and so on. In addition, I am also in charge of handling cases of companies that agree to use our health insurance services by making proposals that match with the agreement.This work requires high accuracy, good mathematical logic, reasoning ability to remember and implement the rules, policy, and standard in any cases, and the ability to learn by doing because each case is different and its handling is different so it needs to adapt well. In addition, I am required to quick yet thorough to fulfill the demand of quotation slip request and communicate properly to prevent miscommunication that results in misunderstanding and ambiguity/multiple interpretations in words and speech. In some cases, I need to be able to be flexible in determining policies.

There are several job that Laboratory Assistant do, such as teaching college student some material about mathematics and programming based on computer, maintaining all computers in laboratory, helping lecturer for their research, recruiting new member of Laboratory Assistant, coordinating with Department about syllabus that we taught in practical credits for some courses. The courses that have practical credits are Elementary Linear Algebra, Algorithms and Programming (C++ Language), Database, Computational Mathematics, Numerical Methods, Data Structures and Applied Linear Algebra.
