• Mechanical design, from high-level plant layout through to individual plant components, and employing extensive use of 3D and 2D CAD.
• Project management of the complete project cycle, from design through manufacturing, installation and commissioning.
• Extensive and effective stakeholder liaison including customers, suppliers, contractors and regulatory authorities.
• R&D and prototyping.

Taren Point

Assistance to both the engineering and trades teams in the design, manufacture, install and servicing of industrial waste water treatment plants. This is a part-time role that complements my studies- Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering (Honours) at UOW.

Part of a small team dedicated to the smooth operation and continual progress of the MWAC BRIL Flow Cytometry Facility at UNSW Australia.My main responsibilities included flow cytometer operation and maintenance, user training and assistance and facility administration and upkeep. I was also given the opportunity to work on my own hardware and software.

Darlinghurst, NSW

In this role I was part of a small team dedicated to excellence in the delivery of an expert flow cytometry service, and the continued development of the facility. My role here was varied, spanning instrument operation and maintenance, experiment design, facility coordination and other ad hoc duties.

This was a part-time position that complemented my tertiary studies. I was responsible for coordinating a medium-size team to process large volumes of stock, inventory management and customer service.
