Principal Member of the CSX Positive Train Control (PTC) Communications Team We are responsible for the design, architecture and deployment of the CSX PTC System to include the major and minor areas of all data centers, waysides and locomotives. From concept to production implementation, we work to optimize ROI in PTC reliability, design and performance with maximum increase to the CSX corporate mission success.As a North American Class I Railroad, the CSX PTC System is a major component within the larger nation-wide Interoperable Train Control Network (ITCNet) which enables near real-time message delivery to any PTC enabled locomotive operating on any railroad within the United States. This requires constant planning and coordination between the major rail corporations across the US as we expand the system and bring to life the pillars directed in US federal railroad safety law - Rail Safety Improvement Act of 2008.
