My 25 years of experience include diagnosis and problem resolution for software and hardware across several industries including back-office accounting systems, hospitality systems, the family entertainment industry, and enterprise-level mission critical systems.My unique knowledge of hardware and software and their interaction allows me to diagnose problems in complex systems that others may overlook.My dedication, attention to detail, and desire for "a job done right, the first time" have always been motivators for my work ethic.These qualities couple with my ability to learn quickly and multitask.This results in positive outcomes for customers and my employers alike.I have exceptional problem solving skills and am able to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical people. When a sudden obstacle appears, I can navigate and work to resolve the issue quickly.I have a particular interest in music creation and DJing. During my personal time I undertake woodworking, electronics, and electronic music projects, and upload content to YouTube from time to time.My recent projects include updates for E-mu Systems Emax music samplers. I have adapted the unit for use with more current technology by:- Recreating a SCSI update (no longer produced by the manufacturer)- Provided means to use an adapter for use with industry standard slim floppy drives in the unit- I answer technical questions in relation to the unit and it's repair via a Yahoo! hosted user group.- I facilitated a "group buy" of OLED parts from an Asian manufacturer so group members could update their equipment.- Provided "how to" videos for updating the EL backlit LCD display with an OLED display.
