Having operated a number of my own successful businesses since 1982 I have gained essential practical business knowledge and skills.I have direct experience in many sectors including electronic installations, CCTV, Access Control, Electronic Data Protection, Project Management, Engineering, Manufacturing, Communications, Leisure, Property, and Retail.I have successfully managed contracts for major retailers and the Ministry of Defence.Since 2000 I have practiced as a consultant to SME’s, assisting them to identify trading issues and trading losses and, in many cases, assist with the development and implementation of business turnaround and business growth strategies.I am an experienced and qualified Business Turnaround Practitioner and Business Adviser.I have good working relationships with other specialist consultants working in areas including financial management, marketing, Contact Management Systems (CMS) and business strategy.I have a passion for small businesses and I deliver a range of courses, workshops and 1-2-1 assistance to those wishing to establish or grow a business and I assist students within their learning environment by delivering sessions on specific topics or short courses that cover business start-up and business operations.I was a registered and approved Growth Coach for the UK Governments Growth Accelerator service, which concluded in 2015, helping ambitious businesses achieve rapid and sustainable growth by providing tailored, expert advice.
