In the space of social mobility and student success I devise brave and creative solutions which are centered around data and evidence. I adapt these solutions to different cultural environments and achieve success, even in conditions of stress, risk and uncertainty. Key to this is my vision, insight and good situational analysis. I develop leaders; I love managing people who are more expert in things than me; I create space for people to thrive. My teams go the extra mile. As a result we lead multiple complex, exacting and inter-related programmes across the University and local area which achieve cultural change in departments, across institutions and nationally.
