I am responsible for initial selection and interviewing of new staff, monitoring the crew changes on various chemical/oil tanker vessels, and being involved in data management. Operating in compliance with international maritime agencies, immigration offices and port authorities.I’m in charge of providing travel arrangements for the seafarers, both for the crew change and seminar/course purposes. I work closely with our head office in order to maintain smooth flow of information and to make sure everything is up to date, and all the eventual issues resolved as soon as possible. I apply for visas, flag state documents and course renewals of our crew. Conducting debriefings is also a part of my job.My working hours are flexible, as this specific type of work requires me to be able to be on duty 24/7 whenever the need arises.
