AmperVue allows users to upload full-length event video (e.g. your kid's long soccer game), and then request event highlights. Led international team of 50 software engineers spread across San Jose, Toronto, and Malaysia developing C++, Java and Web Tools. * cloud.altera.comProposed value proposition, and led the development of a set of web based features to increase the productivity of our customers. Project was awarded a "2013 Altera Innovation Award" for understanding computer trends and demonstrating a completely new solution for customers to get access to computer resources. * Graphical User Interface Led an experienced team of software engineers in charge of all aspects of the Altera Software's overall User Interface. Quartus II was considered the most user friendly tool in the FPGA industry for many years.* Architecture, Data Models, Design FlowsIn charge of all key C++ and Java data structures in Altera's FPGA EDA Flow. These structures are at the core of every user feature delivered by Altera.

Led a small team of high performing engineers to tackle complex issues across group boundaries. Specific example of one of these projects: * TimeQuest Timing AnalyzerSet strategy and technical vision for a new Static Timing Analyzer that helped prepared Altera to sell programmable logic to the more advanced ASIC customers, allowing Altera to increase its market share by millions of dollars on large accounts. Fought currents of dissent, who believed this was too risky of a change, and at the end, won critics over. Built a new small team to develop Altera's TimeQuest, an Industry first, ASIC-strength Static Timing Analyzer Tool, which is today considered one of Altera's key software advantages. Developed a new User Interface Model to allow a light weight graphical user interface interact with a back end timing engine.

Developed several key C++ based systems, including the Quartus II Classic Timing Analyzer, Event Driven Simulator, Report Infrastructure, Scripting/Tcl API, Place and Route engine for the Mercury device family, and many other features.
