I am currently part of the team managing complete IT security infrastructure at IT headquarters at Air India Gurugram office at New Delhi. I have been involved in the gap analysis of the security controls with respect to ISO 27001.The current work assignment includes planning and budgeting for various IT security products and services. This involves detailed discussions with the vendors and service providers and carrying out POC , obtaining financial sanctions and approvals from top management and tendering for the procurement.The day to day responsibilities include the monitoring of SOC, incident management and remediation, upkeep and maintenance of Networking infrastructure like SDWAN, Wireless network, Routers, Switches, Firewall, Proxy Servers etc and security systems like SIEM and Anti-APT solutions. Generation of periodic threat reports and sharing them with the end users with suggested solutions.I have been associated with management of IT Infrastructure of Air India in complete Northern India for the last 15 years. I have been visiting stations like Jaipur, Chandigarh, Lucknow, Jallandhar, Amritsar, Kanpur, Srinagar where Air India offices are located to ensure 100% network uptime.In addition I have had an opportunity to setup IT infrastructure at Jeddah and Madinah Airports in Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for handling of Air India haj charter flights.Working with the national airline provided me the opportunity to travel to various diverse destinations like Calicut, Mumbai and Kolkata. I feel comfortable in any part of the world and love to interact with people.I coordinate very well and people around me see me as a result oriented person.
