Supporting economic reform efforts in Oman through accompanying key ministries to develop and enact reform (largely through embedding specialist advisors/consultants). Our support is guided by a UK-Omani Ministerial group and we work with a range of Government partners including with Estidamah, Ministry of Finance, Debt Management Office, Oman Investment Authority, Ministry of Energy and Minerals and the Oman Net Zero Centre.

An interim role developing the strategic management and organisation of the Economic Policy and Analysis Unit advising the Ethiopian Prime Minister’s Office on economic planning (industrialisation/structural transformation, investment for export growth, peer country experience, SOE reform).

Working for the Government of Ethiopia (specifically the Ministry of Water, Irrigation and Energy) on the financing and delivery of their plans for climate resilient green growth in Ethiopia. Primary focus is supporting public and private investment in renewable power and urban water/wastewater infrastructure.Advising the Ministry of Environment and Forest and the National Planning Commission on the integration of climate change into the next phase of the GTP (Ethiopia's national development plan); and supporting the Ministry of Finance and Economic Development to design and implement Ethiopia's national climate change fund (CRGE Facility).Also leading GGGI Ethiopia's engagement with the New Climate Economy and the Global Commission on Climate and the Economy - working with EDRI and the Ministry of Urban Development, Housing and Construction on how to secure investments in urban development to drive growth and transformation in Ethiopia.Within GGGI, I act as deputy country representative, co-ordinating our Ethiopia programming across our team of embedded advisers and I am the co-lead for GGGI's global water theme.

Policy development and negotiations on climate change for COP15 at Copenhagen. Lead for international aviation and maritime emissions (including ICAO and IMO), also covering measuring, reporting and verifying (MRV) policy, including mitigation governance architecture for a global climate change deal.
