Szczecin, West Pomeranian District, Poland

I worked as branch chief in Headquarters Multinational Corps Northeast during a very interesting period where we transformed from a NATO Corps Headquarters on low readiness primarily focusing on Non-Article 5 operations to a NATO Headquarters on high readiness ready to execute Article 5 operations as a Corps or Land Component Headquarters.

Mons Belgium

I worked at SACTSEE in the Capability Requirements Branch coordinating the work of nearly 30 staff officers from 20 NATO countries. Our work was focused on the NATO Defence Planning Proces. Main task was to translate the Level of Ambition provided by the NATO Headquarters into exact numbers of tanks, ships, airplanes etc. needed by NATO.

Haderslev, South Denmark, Denmark

Working as Chief of Staff, I was responsible for the work of the brigade staff witch covers Personel, Intelligence, Operations, Logistics, Plans, Communications, Training & Exercises, Budget and CIMIC. The main task of the Brigade was at that time to train and certify Danish battlegroups going to Irak and Afghanistan.

Kosovo

During my six months in Kosovo, I had the overall responsibility on the ground for KFOR´s military activities in the very northern part of Kosovo right up to the Serbian border. I commanded soldiers from Denmark, Estonia and France and was supported by civilians from Bosnien and Kosovo.

Denmark

I was drafted to the Royal Lifeguard in 1981 where I served as private and sergeant. After finalising officers course in 1986, my work has been focused on artillery, operations, intelligence and defence planning.
