I am a graduate from Rochester Institute of technology with a BA in Illustration. I am currently working as a freelance illustrator to gain experience in the field and build a strong resume. For my artwork I mostly use Adobe Illustrator but I use Photoshop from time to time. I am a digital artist but I believe it is important to keep ones traditional abilities sharp as well. I accomplish this by rendering my illustrations traditionally through the beginning stages of the creative process until I create a final sketch of the illustration. After the final sketch is complete I render the final illustration digitally. I try to take a simplistic approach to my art. When rendering objects, I try to use at most three shapes with one color per shape. To capture as much detail as I can using this style, the shapes I create can become quite complex. This is a style I have been working on for a few years and my clients have been very pleased with the results. In the future I hope to be working in advertising or character design for movies and/or video games.
