Stockbit is the leading social platform that redesigned information sharing for stock investors and traders in Indonesia.• Developed and maintained investment social features such as chat, stream, friend-discovery, user relations (follow and block), etc.• Enhanced trader follow and block relationships by leveraging ArangoDB (GraphDB) for improved latency.• Migrated social modules from monolithic to microservices, along with transitioning their datastores from shared to dedicated.• Optimized the CI/CD Golang caching process by transitioning to Go vendor, resulting in a 30-40% increase in speed• Led & mentored a team up to three engineers.Enhanced the efficiency of the backend team's Software Development Life Cycle (SLDC) by implementing trunk-based development methodologies and feature toggles. This initiative yielded significant results:• Active MR branches have an average merge time of less than or equal three days.• Deployment frequency across all managed services has been raised to a minimum of twice per week. This was achieved by distributing deployment responsibilities among team members, eliminating the bottlenecks caused by a single deployer dependency.• Complex branching across all managed services has been eradicated, thanks to the introduction of feature toggles.
