Neumann Nonprofit Ltd. has been the premiere digital content development agency of government sector in Hungary since 1997. Its developments aimed to facilitate digitization, digital publication, availability and utilization of the data properties of the cultural sector as well as the public sphere. We set up and run the National Audiovisual Archive, the Hungarian legal deposit archive for broadcast media. We set up special collections with strong online services like http://filmhiradokonline.hu (sortlisted as best online project at Focal in 2010) and http://gramofononline.hu. We developed and operated the Hungarian public sector information registry. Neumann Kht. is also in providing content-infrastructure that connects public collections with for-profit content development and collector's communities.As an MD I have been responsible for around 50 employes and an annual budget of €2-2,5 million, various EU funded projects, international coordination, consulting government leaders on development and public policy issues of this field.The company has been shut down in 2012.
