During this time I was the architect of Enterasys' Layer 2 software/hardware strategy and led the implementation of the industry leading network security solutions. Architected and led the implementation of a N-way redundant High Availability software model for the company's premier Switch/Router ($100 million annual hardware sales).Led the evaluation of COTS silicon for ODM and internal product applications.

Architected and implemented L3/L4 switching solutions spanning multiple product lines. Led the transition from proprietary to standard's based VLAN solutions across the breadth of the company's product line.Actively involved in customer facing interactions with respect to issue resolution and product enhancement.Interfaced multiple packet switching technologies (ATM, WAN, FDDI) into ethernet based products. Architected the integration of ATM in to the VLAN operational model.
