Daniel Chun is a Regional VP - Hawai‘i at Alaska Airlines at Alaska Airlines. Colleagues describe him as "While I was (and am) president of HGLCF, Daniel reinvented his job description as ED to include everything imaginable that would take the organization up to a new, higher level. He was extraordinarily successful at accomplishing almost all of those goals for HGLCF at a time when other nonprofits were suffering and foundering. His current involvement as an HGLCF board member has been less hands-on, but he is no less a dynamo of ideas, connections and follow-through. Any organization that he cares to work for will be very lucky to have his many talents available." and "Daniel Chun worked in state government (for the Governor's Tourism Liaison in Hawaii) but he was anything but a bureaucrat. Daniel joined the office when it was first created - and he helped create a government office that was actually nimble, customer focused and responsive to the needs of the industry.
