MUSIC INDUSTRY:• Drafted and negotiated all manner of agreements relating to recording artists and entertainment companies in connection with recording and production agreements, live performance agreements and Internet service agreements; songwriters and publishers in connection with publishing agreements; music producers in connection with all manner of producer agreements; corporations in connection with sponsorship and music licensing agreements for branding, placement and advertising purposes; and artists and management companies in connection with management agreements. • Primary attorney for Eric Hutchinson’s independent album “Sounds Like This” which, in the fall of 2007, was ensconced in iTunes’ Top 10, becoming, at the time, the highest charting album by an unsigned act in iTunes history. TELEVISION INDUSTRY:• Represented production companies, services providers and individuals in the negotiation of production related agreements for “live-in-concert” television programming (one-offs and series), including, but not limited to, broadcast, locations, sponsorship, product placement, content acquisition and personal service agreements (i.e. talent, directors, writers, producers, talent bookers, etc.).• Advised production companies and individuals regarding their rights and responsibilities under guild rules (e.g., SAG, WGA, DGA, AFM).• “Business and Legal Affairs” end titled credit received for the episodic, live-in-concert, VH1 Classics television series “Decades Rock Live” (2006).
