I am currently employed at Phoenix Physical Therapy working with a variety of orthopedic diagnoses. I believe in a hands on approach with all of my patients, combined with therapeutic exercises and neuromuscular re-education to obtain patient outcomes. I believe in the importance of building good patient/clinician relationship as this helps create a better experience for both parties. Ultimately, Skills I possess are reviewing of systems, McKenzie method, Manual Therapy, palpation, soft tissue manipulation, graston, cupping, muscle energy techniques, soft tissue release, manual stretching, neuromobilizations, joint mobilizations, joint manipulation, performance of special test, therapeutic exercise selection, and therapeutic modality use. I received a heavy dose of the McKenzie method during my education and my professional career and will look to further train in this methodology. My exercise science and coaching background will continue to be valuable assets as those careers coexist with my physical therapist career. Continuing to work with athletes as young as five years old has allowed me to teach and encourage healthy movement patterns.
