As solar CAD coordinator for the Burns & McDonnell Power Group, I am responsible for ensuring the success of solar PV engineering and construction projects through digital deliverables. Within this role, I work with personnel and project management to balance design resources across multiple active projects, as well as develop and distribute standards, training, and custom digital tools to project teams.As an experienced engineering designer specializing in civil, structural, and electrical disciplines, my career has allowed me to work across a variety of industries and roles. These include traditional power generation facilities, renewable energy, power transmission and distribution, aviation and federal, residential and commercial construction, and more.Over my career, I have provided drafting and technical services to more than 60 power plants world wide and over 50 unique infrastructure projects in the Charleston tri-county area. Currently with Burns & McDonnell, I have provided design, CAD coordination, and outage planning to over 100 projects in the US and abroad.
