As a Robotics & Automation Engineer I contribute in enabling the implementation of next-generation automation technologies as part of the Factory of the Future Team. Worked as a Graduate Teaching Assistant (GTA) to University of Maryland, College Park since July 2018. GTA for Automation and Manufacturing (ENPM 808P)January 2019 - Present- Currently I serve as the Graduate Teaching Assistant for Automation and Manufacturing Course of the Robotics Graduate Program. - The course deals with the concepts like, Robotics and Human Robot Collaboration in Industry, Additive manufacturing, Industry 4.0 or Factory of the future, use of simulation tools, sustainability in industry, importance of digital manufacturing and how everything together can blend in to create the smart manufacturing practices. - I am responsible for helping up finalize the course content, slides for presentation, solving queries about any related topics, helping 20 students to shape their project and guide them through the projects wherever needed. - I am learning great deal of concepts related to all above mentioned fields and mainly learning a lot from the different perspectives of students and professor. GTA for Robot Modelling (ENPM 662)July 2018 - December 2018- I had an opportunity work as a GTA for one of the core courses of the Robotics Masters - Robot Modelling. Where I got to learn modelling concepts like Rigid body Transforms, Forward Kinematics, Inverse Kinematics, Dynamics, Jacobians and Singularities and many more. - As a GTA I was also responsible for guiding students through their semester projects. I got to learn the same concepts from the perspective of many more eyes. - I guided, graded and improved the projects of about 35 students as a sole guide and supported total of 108 students through their assignments and project work. - Apart from the major responsibilities, I also enjoyed the deep technical conversations with professor and students whenever students had queries on any topic related to robot modelling.

As a part of the Robotics & Automation Engineering Intern in FACTORY OF THE FUTURE team, • I assessed opportunities for material handling automation and robotic implementation. I was also responsible to come up with the concept, design, develop cycle for the automation of the existing manufacturing processes.As a part of the Factory of the future team, I kept myself up to date with the latest developments in the robotics technologies and automation implementation. • I proposed a concept with 1st Cobotic process implementation with the use of industry 4.0 concepts, for consumable components kitting and packaging process at San Diego HQ.• I simulated implementation of enhanced Cobotic process promised to reduce the kitting quality issues to zero.• I Compared and evaluated 5 different collaborative robots over 90 different criteria for implementation based on the suitability defined by requirement.
