About David Krejci, Cae

David has more than 50 years of experience in grain and oilseed supply-chain operations applied research, continuing-education programming, and strategic thinking, including more than 40 years of not-for-profit organization executive management experience. The American Society of Association Executives (ASAE) recognizes him as a Certified Association Executive (CAE). The CAE designation is the highest level of certification in association executive management.David served 1987-2019 as Executive Vice President and Secretary of the Grain Elevator and Processing Society (GEAPS); an international not-for-profit professional association. As GEAPS’ chief staff executive, David collaborated with board officers, directors, and committee leaders to ensure GEAPS would achieve its full potential through strategic thinking, effective and efficient operations plan development, and implementation. He managed the organizations’ strategic alliances and relationships with grain industry stakeholders. He was recognized by GEAPS for his service in advancing the evolution and successful pursuit of the organization’s Mission and Vision, by being named as its 2019 Industry Leader.David was elected President of the GEAPS Foundation, a charitable organization supporting development of new and innovative resources for training grain and oilseed supply-chain operations professionals. Previously he served 2011-2021 the Foundation’s Executive Director and elected 2021 as a board director.David served 2008-2019 as a member and 2011-2018 Chair of the Kansas State University Grain Science and Industry Advisory Council. He also served 2019-22 on the Advisory Board of Bountifield International, a not-for-profit organization dedicated to providing practical, efficient, and scalable solutions for sub-Saharan developing-countries post-harvest ag commodity food supply chain safety and sustainability.David is a member of the American Society of Associations Executives. In addition to his association executive credentials, David is a registered architect and licensed interior designer.David earned his Master of Business Administration degree from the University of St. Thomas, St. Paul, MN, as well as a Master of Architecture and BS in Environment Design from the University of Minnesota, Minneapolis.
