During the internship I had an excellent opportunity to work with combining machine learning and biomedical CT imaging in veterinary field. The rich experience included:- preparing a workflow to automatically preprocess volumetric CT images,- creating an environment for model training from scratch using mainly PyTorch, MONAI and TorchIO,- training various models on the data for multi-class multi-label segmentation task and comparing the results to explore their possibilites in this field.The internship helped me expanding my knowledge in the field and gave me an opportunity to work in a warm and welcoming international environment, for which I am very grateful.Thank you MedGIFT for this wonderful experience!
