Habitat for Humanity Calaveras has a big challenge: to make owning a home in a rural county where half the workers can't qualify for a regular mortgage. Helping meet that workforce housing challenge is the most challenging, inspiring, and challenging thing I've ever done. "A hand up rather than a handout" is the approach the organization is using to make a big dent in the current lack of quality affordable housing for the local workforce.

Building brand equity by optimizing, and better leveraging, customer experiences. Clients served include: Capitol Records, Neumann, Mackie, E-mu Systems, AMD, and QSC Audio.

Greater Los Angeles Area / North America

In this contracted liaison role, I helped recruit influencers to comment credibly about their use of QSC K Series in a series of YouTube videos and get the product in use on American television shows including Jimmy Kimmel, Tonight Show w/ Jay Leno, Live From Daryl's House, and American Idol. Other tasks included writing occasional user stories and coaxing quotes for ads. During my tenure K Series became the best selling product of it's kind, a fact I would love to claim more credit for than I'm sure I deserve.

Woodinville, Washington

Managed key individual and institutional customer relationships worldwide during this tenure. Also managed media relationships for 18 months. Accomplishments included:Serving as the company’s main customer advocate, I helped end-users who had identified post beta hardware and software problems communicate more effectively with internal stakeholders including: QC, tech support, marketing, and senior management. As chief liaison between decision leader users and internal/external stakeholders including the media, engineering, and senior management, my accomplishments were credited by the founder/CEO as “fundamental to the growth that allowed us to go public.”Assisting the Advertising and PR departments, I was solely responsible for eliciting credible testimonials from high profile users and helped leverage those in sales collateral, web sites, advertising, training, and press coverage. Best of all, I got to produce a video profiling Spanish-speaking artist-users in Miami and LA that exploded the brand in the Americas.
