Arthur J. Gallagher and Co. is a global sales and marketing firm that provides diverse and effective risk management programs to their clients. This was a paid internship in which I worked in the Gallagher Benefits Services, Inc. subdivision. As part of the program, I attended an intern orientation week at the company’s global headquarters where we heard from company executives on how to be successful both as interns and in our future careers. Additionally, weekly speeches focused on a variety of topics served to improve public speaking skills. Throughout the summer, I had the opportunity to attend and participate in several client and prospective client meetings. This allowed me to better understand the importance of client relationships and the complexities of the insurance industry. At the end of the summer, I participated in the preparations for a final sales challenge, which was an opportunity to showcase all skills learned throughout the internship program and experience the sales process.

Loyola Academy is a college preparatory high school rooted in the Jesuit, Catholic tradition. The goal of a Jesuit education is to encourage students to lead lives of faith and action to become fuller versions of themselves.This was a paid internship in which I collaborated with members of Loyola Academy's Office of Advancement to assist in the End of Fiscal Year operations. Some of the tasks included assisting in the creation iMovie videos for social media depicting students’ future goals for the social media campaigns, as well as calling alumni, graduate parents, current parents, and other school benefactors to seek donations for the Annual Giving Program. I also assisted team members on a daily basis in a variety of different tasks that needed completion.
