As an Assistant Manager, roles from dealing with contract bookings dealt with other companies and corporations were fulfilled. This greatly improved customer relations skills, as well as decision making skills to best suit the interest of my place of employment. All these skills were needed when dealing with unhappy customers, quarrels between customers, and many other managerial roles that arose. The most important skill I learned at La Mission however, was teamwork skills. I learned how important it is for everyone to work together to even clean and set a room. It became quickly evident that without the whole system working in step with each other, the system will eventually break down. Leadership to prevent this scenario was something that had to be kept in mind at all times.
