Work with fellow committee members to assess the various needs and requirements of updating our 25 year-old, 120,000 square foot building. Our mandate is to bring the exterior of the building, which leaks in many areas, up to the 2007 building code, while giving a fresh look that will carry us forward another 25 years. We are completely finished Phase 2 of the renovation, which involves completely removing the existing stucco, remediating any damaged sections, and rain screening and re-facing the exterior with stucco and brick.Various ongoing tasks include:Onsite testing of building envelope for water ingress and potential damage.Gather pricing quotations for replacing stucco, windows, drywall and other components of the building.Engage Architect, Envelope and Structural engineers and evaluate conceptual designs they provide.Develop a line-by-line spreadsheet budget for the entire project.Develop a project timeline.Meet regularly with a larger 12-person committee to present findings and discuss and vote on direction and actions taken.Present progress reports at various times in written memos and in person in front of the church congregation, and field questions from the members of the church.Meet with City of Abbotsford Planners and Building Department Personnel in preparation for Building Permit Application.

Single family home builder, take homes from concept through design and full completion.My wife Tammy and I have partnered together since 1998 to build homes that are meticulously planned and built with both form and function.We are blessed to have put together a team of trades and suppliers that we feel is among the best in Abbotsford.Currently we are building beautiful custom homes on Eagle Mountain in East Abbotsford, and have access to some fantastic lots to build more custom homes on!We partnered with Georgie Award-Winner Boffo Construction Group to build a unique cul-de-sac of 19 homes called the Pines, which we completed in 2012. We are pleased to have had the opportunity to partner with another Georgie winning developer, Solterra to build 4 homes, Dwell @ 72. In Summer of 2013 we broke ground on the first of 4 stylish, contemporary homes in the Clayton Heights area of Surrey, adjacent to Solterra's inspiring and lively Sun at 72 townhouse project, and finished in early 2015.
