Installation, adjustment and administration of LAN and server group (Win 2000 AS, Active Directory domains, Terminal Services/Citrix MetaFrame) and 40+ workstations Win NT 4.0/2000/XP for the Institute administrative staff.Achievements:The Institute LAN developed and redesigned to be integrated into the university intranet via channel with integrated services (VoIP, transit access in IP-network RBNet). User access and traffic accounting (PPPoE, RADIUS) organized.

Lecturing and teaching practical and laboratory works on subjects "Operating Systems", "Computer Networks and Telecommunications".

Duties and Experience:Administrating of the Internet channel. Provision of users' access to the Internet and traffic accounting (Argus, MRTG, RADIUS), took part in the workgroup for development and maintenance of in-house web-traffic accounting software (based on Squid+Perl+PostgreSQL).Installation and tuning Linux-based servers for firewall (IPTables), DNS (BIND), web (Apache 1.3.x), proxy (Squid, Socks5), routers. Monitoring and provision of services reliability, security and (TCPWrapers, Tripwire, SNORT, COPS, grsecurity, tcpdump) and server backup (tar, cpio, dump). Administration, anti-virus and UCE-protection for Linux mail servers (Postfix+MySQL, Sendmail, Dr. Web/Kaspersky Antivirus for Unix, Razor/SpamAssasin). Support of the Institutes’s website (www.siurgtu.ru) (Apache + SSL + PHP4 + MySQL). Support and consulting staff in e-mail and Internet access issues.

Activities: Teaching practical and laboratory works on subjects “The State-wide and Regional-wide Networks”, “Systems Theory and Systems Analysis”, “Architecture of Computers”.

Administrating of Win NT 4.0 Server domain and 60 workstations with Win NT 4.0 Pro/Win 9x for the staff and computer classrooms. Development and support website for the Chair.
