My main role is to find school placements for our students that are enrolled on a secondary PGCE.I act as first point of contact for partner schools, ITT coordinators, co-mentors and students on placements;• Support the operational delivery for placement learning for trainee teachers by coordinating the planning and sourcing of placements; working with academic staff to allocate placements to students;• Oversee all placement onboarding procedures including safeguarding and fitness to teach acknowledgements.• Co-ordinate the completion, assessment and evaluation of each placement;• Organise training, assessment and consultation events with school-based mentorsOutside of work my favourite pastimes includes drinking pina coladas, getting caught in the rain and running up the stairs really fast.
