In many cases, this person is the “face” of Pelco to the customer and the primary point of contact over the long term to resolve issues.• Ensures that an organizational department has the Service Support Resources to ensure that all customers are supported and all engineering and service commitments are met.• Ensure that the department runs efficiently within budget and maximizes every support opportunity. • Develop, evaluate, and review technical service procedures and standards; monitor the cost and effectiveness of activities to optimize resources, priorities spending, and achieve timeliness, reliability, and customer satisfaction standards. • Estimate the cost, time, and resources required for installations, upgrades, and other technical services; prepare work orders and monitor the progress of work against estimates. • Research, evaluate, and recommend new equipment and tools to enhance the capabilities of the technical service team. • Select, lead, direct, evaluate, and develop a team of service engineers and technicians to ensure that installations are completed on time, within budget, and according to customer requirements. • Grows the customer base and manages all service resources to ensure customer satisfaction.
