Is where he began learning music business law, artist management, music publishing, distribution, etc. Which positioned him to be selected personally to be mentored by Dr.Lena Mclin famed music instructor of major recording artist R.Kelly. As Owner/CFO of "NIKIMO STYLIST WEAR INC." coordinating national sales and marketing programs for major industry tradeshow / conventions. Closing product placement deals with major films like "Barbershop”. As well as playing a major role in all aspects of development from concept to sale thru special promotional events (Hard rock Cafe After Party hosted by Morris Chestnut ATL,GA) to increase brand awareness. Then in 2004 D.L.Butler launched ALUMNI EVENTS & BOOKING, which handled casting for a season of "Pussycat Dolls: Search for the Next Doll" & "Americas Next Top Model" Reality Shows held in Chicago. Also while consulting various artist, producers and independent labels such as AAU Records artist (John Blu) who within a year had a hit radio single and was signed by Jive Records.
