Performed cuttings particle size distribution testing and compared results against distribution of LCM material to select optimal shaker screen mesh size. Retained 75% of LCM while removing 75% of drilled solids in the mud system, decreasing disposal, diesel, and LCM costs while drastically improving mud properties. Previously required bypassing shakers and allowing suboptimal mud properties.► Assisted in the development and testing of PDC bits with advanced rolling cutter technology with Smith (co-authored AADE paper AADE 15 NTCE 39 detailing this process)► Applied a specialized nitrogen foam cement design to enable successful cementing of production long strings. Achieved sufficient zonal isolation while keeping ECD below the fracture gradient. Resulted in savings of $250,000 per well by eliminating the need for a liner/tieback production casing design.► Designed a 12 1/4" vertical BHA that achieved a 300% increase in ROP and 300% increase in bit life. Resulted in savings of 5-7 rig days and $300,000 per well, while maintaining casing contingencies.

► Drilling Engineer in charge of 3-4 horizontal rig lines drilling the Granite Wash & Cleveland unconventional plays in the Texas Panhandle, as well as the Cotton Valley gas play in East Texas.► Responsible for the entire drilling process, including cost estimation, well planning, rig schedule management, drillsite construction, vendor selection, drilling execution, real-time geosteering and problem solving, and post-well lookbacks.► Developed well design and casing program from scratch on a newly acquired asset and improved upon it through iterative feedback and redesign► Extensive exposure to mitigating lost circulation and real time geo steering in thin pay intervals, including utilizing advanced MWD technologies.
