His career as a producer began when he quit lawyering to work onPure Pwnage, a comedy web series that pre-dated YouTube but was seen by over 10 million viewers andlater adapted for a Gemini-nominated television series. Over the last decade, he has produced over fifteendigital series, including three seasons of the IPF series Space Janitors for Felicia Day's Geek & Sundrychannel, the Digi-Award award-winning V Morgan is Dead Smokebomb series for RBC, and the digitalcompanion piece to Fox's Houdini & Doyle. Along the way, he managed record-breaking crowdfundingcampaigns raising over $ 4 million for Canadian films like Corner Gas: The Movie and the sci-fi film Code 8.Davin has worked with the CMPA and ACTRA to define and negotiate rights for digital producers and hasbeen a member of the Academy's Digital Media Rules Committee for the past four years.
