I like to understand the basic building blocks of situations in order to develop sustainable solutions.Currently I am the CFO of The Ambr Group, a private equity backed ecommerce company. As CFO I am responsible for all aspects of finance including FP&A, budgeting and forecasting, cash flow management, financial reporting, preparation of investor and board materials, accounting, and compliance. My responsibilities also include management of the worldwide Human Resources function and the IT and Data Analysis organization.My background also includes working in the finance departments of public companies. I have experience managing teams with over 50 finance professionals, preparing SEC filings (10-Q, 10-K, 8-K), writing quarterly and annual press releases for the investing community, and implementing Sarbanes-Oxley at several companies.I hold a Bachelor of Arts in Accounting from Michigan State University and am a Certified Public Accountant in Illinois. Outside of work I enjoy climbing, hiking, and camping with my family and friends.
