D. Foster is a native Texan. He attended the University of Arkansas where he majored in marketing. In 1997 D. moved to Washington D.C. and Joined The White House staff where he served as an advance trip coordinator from 1997-2001. During that time he traveled with The President domestically and internationally, his daily responsibilities being to perfect logistics for events and ensure that the message conveyed was aligned with the backdrop presented. In 2001, D. accepted a position at CNN working as Floor Director for Judy Woodruff, Greta Van Susteren and Wolf Blitzer. He then became an associate producer for the show Crossfire. Impacted by the attack on The World Trade Center Towers and The Pentagon on September 11, 2001 he Moved to Little Rock, Arkansas. From 2002-2006 he worked as an political consultant on campaigns ranging from mayoral to presidential campaigns. In 2006, D. became Director of Business Development for Softwyre, a software company creating desktop and web based applications for corporations and universities.D. diverted his career path and incorporated his marketing skills during the 2008 Barnett Shale “oil and gas boom” returning Dallas to joined the firms Cherokee Horn Production and Addax Minerals as a Strategist and acquisition specialist. In 2014, after being a financial contributor and supporter of The Oxford American Magazine D. accepted a public relations position to do fundraising and promotion and that helped facilitate the publication of The Texas Music Issue, which was released in December 2014. Since 2010 he has also worked as a freelance photographer shooting concerts and was honored to have his photograph of George Strait chosen for the back cover of “Cowboy Rides Away - Live at AT&T”. Currently D. is the Vice President of Project Development at The World Economic Development Alliance.
