This role offered me the unique opportunity to revive a children's ministry program during the pandemic. My focus was restructuring the in-person experience. - Communicated with the Lead Pastor to revisit policies and procedures and confirm needed supplies. - Confirm compliance with CDC guidelines including room ratios, updated snack expectations, and mask guidelines. - Processing new volunteers including background checks and in-person interviews.- Creating a weekly volunteer schedule.- Preparing weekly lessons and materials for volunteers.- Observing multiple classrooms on Sunday.- Assisting in classroom and supporting kids with higher needs. - Communicating on a regular basis with active volunteers and parents.- Revisiting Policies and Procedures on a bi-yearly basis and communicating changes to volunteers.

My position with MESD as an Educational Assistant at Four Creeks Elementary where I assisted teachers and support staff with technical issues, training, and guidance. My favorite part of the job is being able to interact with children, creating Positive Behavior Support Plans, and in the moment, behavioral intervention, to help them access the most education possible.

In my position as an Inclusion assistant, I worked 1-to-1 with children who have disabilities or behavioral challenges. My main tasks were to assist the child with peer interactions, self- regulation, communication and mobility. I have worked with a variety of children who have specific sensory needs and de-escalation techniques which are implemented when they start to get upset or act out. I enjoy supporting and teaching these children new techniques and coping strategies which allowed them to feel included and empowered.

I interacted directly with children, first through fifth grade, in the after school program. Responsibilities included leading students through activities, keeping children engaged in the task, correcting negative behavior, and providing encouragement.

In my position as an Instructional Assistant, I was provided with the opportunity to work with kids in the classroom setting. I assisted multiple teachers at an alternative high school, New Urban in Milwaukie, OR. My position consisted of supporting both the teacher and student in delivering components of the lesson as well as providing support and encouragement to the students to stay on task. I worked primarily with Special Education students, which include the emotionally disturbed, specific learning disabilities, and Autism Spectrum Disorders.

I was responsible for the day to day operations of this Real Estate Team. I managed multiple transactions from beginning to end, maintained client database, updated and tracked current marketing efforts. I was also responsible for investigating, researching, and implementing new marketing ideas.

As a web developer, I was responsible for taking approved designs from the graphic designer and making them come alive. In addition to building websites and plug-ins for the proprietary Content Management System (CMS) built by Sightworks, I was responsible for researching and discussing technical solutions for a client’s needs and wants. I also trained both clients and new developers on the SightWorks platform.
