As a business solutions manager för the Swedish Red Cross it was my responsibility that all IT-systems involved in communication and fundraising, front to back, were serving the needs of the organisation and humans affected by it. I primarily worked in the (wast) space between operations and IT-department to ideate, shape, plan and translate business requirements into solutions aligned with the overall IT strategy and capabilities. My biggest accomplishment during this year was creating "Teh Online Vision" and then evangelize it within the organisation. A vision on how to disrupt the present fragmented digital world of the Swedish Red Cross (~40 online sites on separate platforms with separate and isolated user paths, designs, tech and integrations + numerous different apps with the same issues) and thus create one single coherent, sustainable and engaging digital experience of The Swedish Red Cross. A vision that turned in to a project called "One Red Cross Online" late 2017.

Top 3 accomplishments by our team:1. We beat the revenue budget by 74%2. We redesigned and rebuilt the online fundraising platform and transformed it from a static web page to a modular, scalable web system3. At the age of 13 I had my first job cleaning offices in the mornings before school. From that moment on, parallel to school and until I started my current path, I enjoyed various jobs such as balloon flyer, baker, bartender, dj, promotor, cleaner of airplanes, waiter and record store clerk. Having a number of jobs parallel to attending school was wonderful and lots of work. It taught me to work hard and take pride in my job. It offered me challenges that school didn't and kept me sane. It also gave me quite a lot of experiences in different worlds, of different situations and with different people – knowledge and tools I now use every day.
