Summer 2018: Produced and refined early design concepts of an antenna system in CAD. Worked closely with other mechanical and electrical engineers to optimize the designs based on RF performance and system requirements.Summer 2019: Generated and revised mechanical drawings for an antenna feed structure. Conducted basic static stress analysis on antenna test fixtures to validate the mechanical design using NX Nastran.Summer 2020: Designed mechanical parts and produced drawings for a flight-ready antenna feed assembly. Also generated mechanical design documents for future antenna design reference.

El Segundo, California

I designed and prototyped a handheld device for ambient ionization in mass spectrometry. This device has applications in the space field to conveniently and remotely test for contaminants and materials on surfaces of space vehicles to conduct investigations or experiments.

Pasadena

I conducted materials science research under a host graduate student. I worked primarily with copper nanostructures and studied a phenomenon called microplasticity and its relation to relative size changes in the structures.

I worked with students studying from kindergarten through 12th grade in math. I assisted them with their assigned homework, instructed in basic math principles, and assigned relevant coursework to help them understand the concepts.
