I have 40+ years of professional experience in multimedia development (including 20 years in a broadcast television environment). More than half of that time has been spent working to create and refine web and video-based professional development and continuing education tools for 4K-12 teachers and school administrators. For the past 21 years, my appointment has been with the University of Wisconsin School of Education. My work, in one of the top-rated schools of education in the country, has allowed me the opportunity to be involved in the development of hundreds of research-based digital, video, and online professional development tools for K-12 educators, as well as online course development for both graduate and undergraduate levels. I have been able to develop and shape video research data gathering protocol for dozens of individual School of Education research projects. I also established and demonstrated best practices and techniques for optimal video research data gathering, analysis, and online course creation.
