Reviewed energy projects for JPMorgan Chase’s GRE portfolio of over 5,000 properties. Projects included building energy use and cost models for data centers, evaluating energy fuel cell proposals, and developing a lighting retrofit model for portfolio-wide opportunity discovery.

LEED Responsibilities: Maintain and review USGBC LEED-EB documentation for energy savings and upgrades. Conduct internet research for sustainable products Assist purchasing with making sure orders are certified green for office and building supplies and provide tracking documentation. Maintain current city, state and federal compliance records and monitor websites for green code compliance requirements. Ensure that green interior and exterior cleaning standards are met by periodic inspections Maintain recycling standards.Building Responsibilities: Assist with real estate management including providing reports, imputing work orders, helping manage renovations Process invoices and monitor department budgets Systematize office services and building documents to ensure efficiencies and compliance. Troubleshoot problems and arrange for repairs and/or improvements

Broker retail power and natural gas transactions, representing industrial and commercial clients in negotiations with suppliers as part of a pricing team. Responsible for client usage analysis, account pricing and report preparation. Account pricing includes direct communication and negotiation with product suppliers, using thorough energy market knowledge to foster relationships, enhance contract bidding and ultimately minimize energy prices.

Direct collaboration with Executive Directors and Programs Coordinator in analysis, revision and administration of sustainability education programs. Primarily responsible for website and contact software management, production of program videos for marketing and grant application purposes, as well as analysis and customization of CELF’s eco-footprint calculation model. Position will culminate with creation and leadership of an after school class for young students, focusing on sustainability.

Direct assistance to company principals in conducting research and analysis for renewable energy project development and finance.

Performed an energy audit on the entire department for the New York State region. Produced a set of twelve suggested methods to reduce energy consumption by 20% by the year 2015. Presentation and report of results were given to the head of the region and colleagues to determine priority projects.
