I am a distinct representative of how Birmingham businesses operate given effective and efficient leadership of their organization. With thirty years in the corporate banking and the public accounting industry and more than seventeen of those years as an entrepreneur in our city qualifies me as a leading entrepreneur in Metro Birmingham and other regions and states. We serve businesses in more than 12 states with a team that spans 4 different states. I received my Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the University of Montevallo. I was honored for being recently named to the 2023 and 2022 Who's Who in Accounting and 2023, 2022 and 2020 Birmingham’s Most Influential Executives – Power 60 and 2019 National List of the Top 100 Influential Execs in Finance. RAM Firm was also nominated for ICIC’s 2019 Inner City 100 Award. The Inner City 100 is a national ranking of America’s fastest-growing urban businesses in inner cities. I completed the Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Business Program at Babson College in the Fall of 2018 and Emerging Leaders through the U.S. Small Business Administration in 2017. I was selected to serve on Legacy Prep Charter School Board in 2020 and served as Treasurer through 2022. I’m a member of Regions Bank Advisory Board for the Birmingham market as of 2019. I serve on the Small Business Council for the City of Birmingham where I served as the chair of the City Services Committee in my first term. I was appointed by Mayor Randall Woodfin to Birmingham Airport Authority Board of Directors in 2018 where I currently serve as the Chair of the Board of Directors in 2021 and 2022. Other boards include, The Black Bank Fund and National Black Empowerment Council (NBEC). I am also a Member of Foundation Capital where I serve on the Loan Review Committee and a member the Birmingham Kiwanis Club where I serve on the board of directors as past secretary. I have been a mentor for Bizwomen Mentoring Monday and recognized as BBJ’s Women to Watch 2017 and 2015 CEO Finalist of the year in the Small Business Category presented by Birmingham Business Journal. I appear on entrepreneurial panels throughout the state and I'm a guest speaker for many professional organizations on topics including equity and justice, accounting practices, entrepreneurial trends and business sustainability.As the Managing Principal of my firm, I've learned the meaning of team work and understand the importance of collaboration and connections with others in business and community.
