Senior Systems (Project) Engineer, Lead Technical Trainer
Current- Provide pre-sales and sales support and solution engineering for current and prospective clients.- Scope and design hardware and software solutions to achieve client designated project objectives.- Provide implementation services to clients to achieve project objectives.- Lead Technical Trainer providing training and mentorship to IT Administrators and Engineers on various topics and technologies- Emerging Technologies Committee chair providing leadership for selecting and evaluating new technologies and how the fit into the Kidwell product offering to benefit clients and their operations.- Work directly with Kidwell Special Systems team on projects requiring direct integration of CCTV/Security/Controlled Access services and the Kidwell Mitel\Shoretel phone systems team requiring integration with IT services.- Provide internally escalated support and troubleshooting to engineers as requested.Specializations include Dell Technologies compute and storage hardware, Cisco UCS compute and virtualization technologies including VMware vSphere/ESXi/vCenter/Site Recovery Manager and Microsoft Hyper-V. Also work with various network technology manufacturers including Cisco, Adtran, Barracuda, Ruckus, Cisco Meraki, and Fortinet and compute manufacturers including Dell, IBM and HPE. Work with various software and cloud-based IT services including but not limited to Microsoft Exchange, Lync\Skype for Business/Teams, Microsoft Office 365, Google G-Suite\Apps for Business, Microsoft Azure, Skykick, Veeam, Barracuda Backups, Datto\Backupify, etc.
