The primary role of the Coordinator- Student Center for Professional Development/ Administrative Assistant is to support the Director, Internship and Placement Director, Associate Director, and other staff/faculty of L. Robert Payne School of Hospitality and Tourism, San Diego State University.

- Sourcing/recruiting for qualified and ideal candidates via online job boards, job fairs, schools and career centers- Planning and coordinating on-site Career Fairs- Schedule and facilitate candidate interviews - Screen and refer qualified applicants to hiring manager for second interview - Coordinating internal transfers/hires. - Creating Job Offer.

HR Responsibilities:- Hosting on-site Career Fairs in an organized and welcoming manner- Schedule candidate interviews- Conducting Interviews - Conducting Reference checks and background screening.- Conducting I-9 verification using E-verifyDevelopment Responsibilities:- Donation entry and data entry- Creating Donation thank you letters- Processing.

- Purchase durable medical rehab equipment for customers- Providing accurate ETA information to customers- Maintain business relationships with vendors- Taking monthly inventory of equipment- other duties relating to purchasing
