One of the greatest things in my life is to help my wife realize her vision as a designer and businessperson. SportsChic is her passion and mine too. I help as I can with warehouse duties, keeping the books, carrying bags in and out of shows, booth duty. The other day we were in a store and saw a person we did not know carrying one of her bags...it was a great moment!!

As CEO our team was able to prove the market viability of our product but we were unable to raise sufficient capital to ensure the continued operations of the company. The product has been acquired by our major investor who is working on continuing the work to bring it to the people of India.

As the CTO of Veriown, I had the opportunity to translate product vision to reality while helping sheppard technical innovation in order to produce high quality product for our customers and partners.

Every day I had the opportunity to work across the VGI organization, from finance to operations to product to the Board of Directors. I get to work with the senior executive team to help drive both the company's strategy and the tactics each area of the business employs, a proverbial 'swiss army knife'. I also get to lead business development activities in the telecommunications industry. The thing I most enjoy is mentoring members of our team to help them grow professionally. Never a dull moment here.

Currently I have responsibility for driving product marketing and development strategy including working with business development and technology partners to create product capabilities to support multiple go-to-market channels. I am also helping a number of emerging companies with their technology strategies and tactics through my consulting practice.

At Incroud I provide leadership in finance and operations while contributing in the product and business development teams, the latter focusing on international telecommunications BD. Conductiv Software provided suppliers and retailers the ability to utilize mobile apps to improve their service levels and capture consumer sales to increase in-store revenue. My role in the company started as a founder and one of the key product designers. Although the design role was taken over full-time by others, I continued to apply my mobile app and business process design experience to work with product team to help ensure that everything we built was on the leading edge of usability, effectiveness and design.While at Conductiv, I was one of two inventors named on a patent application for a new method of multi-factor authentication that is currently under examination at the USPTO.

Vinops produced innovative and easy-to-use software for the wine industry including vineyard management, winery management, sales and distribution focused on the use of mobile devices in real-time in the winery, warehouses and tasting rooms.The technology that was developed for selling in tasting rooms and managing warehouses became the foundation for Conductiv's mobile sales offering.

Dexterra produced one of the leading mobile middleware platform in the software industry with proven success in the telecommunications and services industries pushing the limits of both mobile and backend technology, developing many innovations that move the industry forward. Many companies around the world relied on Dexterra to provide mobile capabilities for their own software solutions, many spanning into the 10s of thousands of users including Vodafone, Verizon and Telstra. Much of the core mobile technology, methods, and processes still survive today and are still in use by Pegasystems who acquired Antenna Software. As its first CEO I worked with the others on the management team and its board of directors to establish a strong business and secure our first round of funding in the amount of $7MM. After the funding it was obvious that I could help in a role that would allow me to continue to stay close to the product and start international business expansion so I turned it over to our Chairman, who remained in the position for many years. I relocated to England in 2006 to lead a large scale implementation at Vodafone, delivering the world's first in-network mobile application platform.

Corollary Solutions provided business process and system transformation consulting to companies struggling with their CRM strategies. One of the most successful projects we undertook was the transformation of Compaq Computer Corporation's consumer customer service operations including their supporting systems, personnel training and day-to-day management. Over the course of 1 year our team was able to help Compaq remove millions of dollars from the operating costs and improved their customer satisfaction from number 5 in the market to number 2.In 2002 much of this team joined Dexterra when I took the role of CEO.

Assisted in the transition and integration of the customer support operations of Octane with Epiphany before leaving due to redundancy with existing management to start Corollary Solutions.

Octane produced the first internet architected CRM product in the world. My role was to build out a world-class customer support and training organization while using my years of customer support and system management experience to help during the sales process.

After returning from Italy I was assigned to create and direct a new organization created to work with all of the AirTouch International operations around the world to share best practices and help implement best-of-breed technology and processes to improve customer service and reduce operating cost. The team worked across operations in Germany, Italy, Belgium, Spain, Portugal, Sweden, Poland, Romania, Hungary, Japan and Korea. My team also was responsible for supporting expats working in operations around the world and providing customer operations expertise during the filing of new wireless telecommunication applications across the globe.

Assigned as an expat to help the recruitment and development of team members and systems for mobile handset procurement, logistics and SIM-card development, procurement and logistics for the 2nd mobile operator in Italy. After I turned over responsibility to a local director, I was assigned to assist in the design and development of customer service support systems and to mentor customer service management during the development of customer service centers across Italy.

Managed the team that implemented, serviced and supported direct and major account customers in the Los Angeles market including the building of a comprehensive component-level repair center and a fleet of specialized installation and support vehicles for use by field technicians providing on-site support to key accounts.During this time, our team developed a comprehensive handset quality assurance process that now serves as the basis for product lifecycle management processes in use at many wireless telecoms around the world.

I was asked to move to Portugal for 6 months to help in the development of handset procurement and support processes for the 2nd cellular operator in Portugal. After the successful completion of this project I returned to my position in the Los Angeles market.
