•Supported SW, tooling, and process development on an automated high volume manufacturing tester•Supported image analysis code to locate and measure actual size of 600dpi ink drops on paper.•Added parametric data reporting from DOS based legacy system into an Informix database.•Transferred technical knowledge of in-house developed automated equipment to Singapore based team.•Created a distributed control application using a central server running a COM-based Visual Basic application utilizing an Access database to maintain inventory and a PLC5 to control part transfers.•Designed electrical control system for ASRS system and led a crew of three electricians to implement.•Modified Controlview application to add dynamic production load balancing.•Optimized PLC/Servo code to improve product yield and reduce cycle time on a high volume manufacturing line.•Conducted training classes on equipment for operators and maintenance personnel.
